Staffordshire earthenware slip decorated frof tankard c1700-1720 period England

A rare earthenware tankard with a frog to surprise the unwary made in Staffordshire in the early 18th century. The slip decoration features flowers, the frog inside the tankard is exceptionally well proportioned and is amusingly modeled with a protruding tongue.
