A good sized English slipware earthenware baking or loaf dish with a pie crust rim. The dish has a buff toffee coloured ground with brown slip comb decoration and good lead glaze. A very decorative example with good texture and period presence.
Dimensions: 17.75 inch wide 2.75 inch high 14.50 inch deep
Current Condition Unrestored with some crackelure and staining totally in keeping with age and use.
