Alan's Path

Alan is passionate about great food and everything associated with enjoying a delicious meal with friends and family. He started his career at the three Michelin starred Waterside Inn in Bray, with Michel Roux Senior, where he spent three and a half years before heading to France. In France he worked with Michel Guerard, Jean-Michel Lorain, Pierre Gagnaire and Georges Blanc, all of whom also hold three Michelin stars. On returning to England in 1996 Alan gained his first Michelin star in the Cotswolds. Since then Alan has maintained these standards in both the UK and France, gaining two stars in Lyon in 2007. Alan returned to England in 2010 and specialised in new openings across the country. Now settled in the Cotswolds, Alan is excited to bring his experience to your table.
