This garden was designed in collaboration with Jon Uglow from Nicholsons. It is only 12 feet square but we tried to give it a bit of mystery with an arched mirror and an old cartouche from Lasscos adapted into a water feature. The pebble and York stone ground adds textural interest and the two trees, a Fig and a Cherry, are planted close to the house to provide privacy and leafy views. The furniture is made of hard wearing oak, and had to be part of the design due to the limitations of space.

Jon Uglow won the Design Excellence Award 2013 from BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries) for this design.
