Greg Sadler is the Surgical Director and founder of Oxford Hernia Clinic. He qualified in 1982 from the Welsh National School of Medicine and gained wide experience in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery before moving to Oxford in 1993.
Mr Sadler is an internationally recognised surgeon having trained at the John Radcliffe, Oxford; University of Wales, Cardiff and Mount Zion Hospital, San Francisco. He lectures nationally and internationally, has written many surgical text book chapters and publishes regularly in peer reviewed surgical papers.
Mr Sadler has specific interests in both day care and hernia surgery including sports hernia treatment. He has specialist expertise in performing hernia surgery either as an open procedure or via an endoscopic approach. He is the largest single user of ProGrip mesh in the United Kingdom (approximately 3000 procedures) and has performed over 5000 hernia operations.
Greg is also a keen cyclist having finished the Alpe D'Huez section of the Etape de Tour is an IronMan Western Australia finisher and is currently in training to cycle coast to coast across Costa Rica.
