Dr Mark Stoneham is a Consultant Anaesthetist working at all the hospitals in Oxford. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Anaesthesia in the Nuffield Department of Anaesthetics at the University of Oxford.
Mark graduated from Cambridge University in 1987 and trained in anaesthesia in Oxford, the South West of England and Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. His specialist interest is in regional local anaesthesia (particularly in awake carotid artery surgery), he has published papers and lectures internationally and nationally on this subject.
Mark is also a keen cyclist, having completed the Alpe D'Huez Etape de Tour and IronMan Switzerland.
