Whieldon type pottery knives and forks in agateware mid 18th century England

Dated: c. 1750 to c. 1760 Staffordshire England

A very rare set of knives and forks with agateware varaiagted clay pottery handles in the Thomas Whieldon style. The cutlery has pistol grip shaped handles, the forks are dual prong and the blade is scimitar shape. The handles probably made in Sheffield are impress stamped Marrold.

Current Condition Some restoration to hairlines on 4 pieces at handles.
