Massive scale early cow creamer pottery figure , pearlware late 18th century Staffordshire.

Dated: c. 1785 to c. 1795 Staffordshire England

Probably the largest antique pottery cow creamer ever made standing over 13 inches long. The exceptional scale and simplicity of the white body with a fine pearlware glaze presents a sculptural primitive folk art form.This exceptionally rare figure is not shown in any of the standard reference works.

Current Condition Professional and invisible restoration to horns, crack in tail and minor chipping at base. The cover is original with restoration to rim chips.
